Pacific Catch, the Bay Area’s hottest fresh fish restaurant, is seeking an experienced line cook to work at its new Mountain View location.

BACK OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBER REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced kitchen required. Culinary degree or training a plus.
PHYSICAL
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 4 hours in length. Must have the ability to lift 35 pounds in weight.
SCHEDULE
These are part time positions with schedules ranging from 20-35 hours a week depending on your availability and the restaurant’s staffing needs. Back of house team members will be expected to work evenings and weekends regularly.

SNAPSHOT OF LINE COOK JOB DUTIES:
- Ensure fast, accurate service, and positive and polite guest and team relations.
- Be responsible for your shifts and knowing your schedule; be on time.
- Ensure a safe, positive and healthy working and guest experience free of harassment.
- Perform necessary prep work and clean up according to spec.
- Follow stocking and par level procedures; always following proper rotation standards.
- Restock after each shift.
- Clean your station as you work. Help keep the entire restaurant clean.
- Clean towels regularly using sanitizer from the dish sink.
- Perform scheduled line maintenance; inform manager of any broken equipment.
- Practice safe food handling procedures to prevent cross contamination.
- Check temperature levels in coolers and steam tables.
- Exercise care with all utensils, china, and equipment to ensure minimum breakage.
- Clean all walls, shelves and floors in your station of the kitchen every shift.
- Follow all safety practices and procedures. Wear slip-resistant shoes
- When time allows, cross train- learn how to properly work all stations on the line.
- Maintain positive attitude towards your job and management.
COMPENSATION
Competitive wage dependent upon experience
