Jose David Vidal, Chef, Corte Madera

Jose Vidal

Jose David Vidal was born in El Salvador, completing both high school and university before moving to San Francisco in November 2005. He immediately began working at Max’s Opera Cafe (where, coincidentally, current Senior Operations Manager, Rob Schechtman, was General Manager of at the time), before moving on as a cook for The Simco Restaurant Group, which owns several well known San Francisco restaurants, including Fog Harbor Fish House, Pier Market, and WipeOut Bar and Grill. Jose was eventually promoted to supervisor of Wipeout’s Marin location, while also working at Pier Market. In September 2011, he joined the Pacific Catch team as a cook for its 9th Ave location, and was promoted to Corte Madera’s Chef in September 2013.

Jose enjoys spending time with his family, long walks on the beach, and listening to music.
