Heidi Collins, Director of Human Resources
After earning her BA from UC Santa Barbara in Japanese and Communications, Heidi moved to Tokyo where she lived and worked for over 7 years. One of her most notable positions in Tokyo was as a VIP guest coordinator in the Park Hyatt, Japan’s premier luxury hotel, known for having the highest service standards. In 2004, Heidi returned to her hometown and joined the management staff at San Francisco’s leading Japanese restaurant, Ozumo. Here, Heidi had the opportunity to expand on her extensive marketing and PR background in her position as the Director of Special Events. In addition to playing a key operational role at both Pacific Catch Restaurants and The Culinary Edge consulting firm, Heidi’s passion and deep experience in the restaurant industry make her a key ingredient to the team’s creative process.
