Justin Secrest, Restaurant Manager, Mountain View
Born and raised in the East Bay, Justin spent much of his earlier years trying out different jobs, from stints as a golf course driving range attendant, kettle corn maker at farmer’s markets, tool salesman, even a high school/wedding DJ. While attending college at San Jose State University, Justin began his journey working in restaurants as a food expeditor at China Bistro. He quickly moved up, becoming a server at a Brinker International restaurant chain and, within a year, was promoted to lead server trainer and bartender. After graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Justin utilized his degree in various positions, but ultimately found his niche in restaurants and the food service industry.
Justin’s career with Pacific Catch began in Winter 2011, shortly after the opening of its Pruneyard/Campbell location. As a bartender and shift supervisor, Justin became familiar with the food, people, and culture that make Pacific Catch unique. Impressed by both the growth of the company and the team who managed it, Justin accepted the Restaurant Manager position for Pruneyard in Summer 2013.
At home, Justin is supported by his wife Becky, a photographer, their beautiful daughter Scarlett, and two dogs, Buster and Molly. Justin spends his free time with family, enjoying good food and drinks, catching up on the 49ers and A’s, working on DIY projects, and honing his golf game.
