Tom Hanson, COO
Tom joined the Pacific Catch Management team as VP of Operations in May 2007. In February 2009, Tom was promoted to COO.
Born and raised in San Diego, Tom played sports growing up and spent every spare moment at the beach. He attended Grossmont College and San Diego State where he studied Business and Marketing until the snow and outdoor activities of South Lake Tahoe ignited a desire to leave SD.
After three years in Tahoe, Tom headed to the East Coast where he first got involved in the restaurant business, opening 3 Senor Rattlers Cantinas in Atlantic City and Philadelphia over nine years.
Tom move back to California and worked for Chevys in Northern California for 9 years. He started as a GM and worked up to Regional Director of Operations of 23 restaurants in Nor Cal and Nevada.
Ten years ago Tom went to work for Baja Fresh where he worked in various management positions, most recently Director of Market Operations overseeing 53 restaurants in Northern California and Las Vegas.
Tom currently lives in the East Bay with the “love of his life,” his wife of 29 years, and his three wonderful children. He enjoys hiking with the family, playing golf with his buddies, attending sporting events, BBQ’s, reading, and swimming in the backyard with his family.
Tom is extremely excited about being a part of the Pacific Catch family at this juncture in his career.
