Warren Gambell, General Manager, Campbell
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Warren spent his teen years exploring the Bay Area, particularly the hills in and around New Almaden, fishing in the local reservoirs and the secluded beaches in nearby Santa Cruz. At the age of fifteen Warren’s first job was as a line cook in a local steak house where he developed an interest in food and hospitality. While in college, Warren started working at a local seafood restaurant. After graduating, Warren was given the opportunity to go into management and take over the kitchen. In a short period of time Warren was responsible running two kitchens and also developed a keen interest in wine, which led to his promotion to Food and Beverage Manager. After leaving “The Original Crab House” Warren was hired as the Beverage Manager for Specialty Restaurant’s Berkeley location where he gained experience in banquets, buffets, fine dining and entertainment. From there it was back to San Jose where he went to work as a General Manger for Florentine Restaurants. While at Florentine’s Warren was offered the General Manager position at Max’s Opera Café in the Stanford Shopping Center where he had the opportunity to meet and work with Rob Schechtman. After 9 years at Max’s, Warren learned of Pacific Catch’s plans to open a new store in Campbell and he joined the team in May of 2011 to help open the Campbell location.
In his free time Warren still loves to fish, mountain bike, hike the local hills, and he continues his search for the perfect bottle of wine. He is also a lifelong Giants and 49er fan. Warren currently resides in San Jose.
